For over seven years Senior Manager Andy Hopfinger has been an instrumental player in the Boatsman Gillmore Wagner team.  This week, he leaves the firm and the Charlotte region.  Andy and his wife, Kristi, are returning to Michigan.  Andy and Kristi are the proud parents of baby Sam, and wish to be closer to their own families as they raise Sam.

"This is a big loss for the Boatsman Gillmore Wagner family," says firm co-founder Adam Boatsman.  "Andy's experience and rapport with clients will be tough to beat.  We are deeply committed to the clients Andy served, however, and will do everything in our power to ensure a smooth transition.  We will miss Andy, and wish him all the best as he seeks to do what's right for his family."

Boatsman Gillmore Wagner provides expertise in tax, assurance and business consulting to a diverse clientele comprised of small and medium sized businesses.  Clients range from manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and healthcare providers to real estate, construction, professional services, technology, sports and entertainment organizations.  While most of the clientele are closely held businesses, the firm also servers numerous international and not-for-profit organizations.
