Adam Boatsman, a partner with the CPA firm Boatsman Gillmore Wagner, PLLC (www.TrustBGW.com) announced the firm’s name has officially changed to BGW CPA, PLLC.  Boatsman also announced the addition of Matthew Jameson and Matt Pugh to the firm.
A major catalyst for the changes is the firm’s continued growth in the metro Charlotte region and its expansion into Western North Carolina. “Many CPA firms begin with the owner’s last names in the title and on the door,” notes Boatsman. “As our firm grew, we realized that our name didn’t accurately express the collaborative effort we bring to our clients: we always knew that there were more than three names behind our success. Officially changing the name reflects our business process and it positions us to attract and retain top talent to continue to effectively serve our clients.”
Boatsman also announced that Dale Gillmore, a partner in the firm has left to form a management consulting firm, Make An Impact Consulting, Inc. “Dale has been at the forefront of our company’s success and made his own impact on our firm. Since 2006, our firm grew because we focused on maximizing results in companies and maximized potential in people – both inside our firm and in companies we serve. Dale’s new venture is a natural next step and we are excited about his new opportunity.”
Joining the TrustBGW team are staff accountants Matthew Jameson and Matt Pugh. Jameson is a graduate from Winthrop University with a Master’s in Accountancy and Pugh has a Master of Science in accounting from East Carolina University.
