After years of exemplary service in public accounting, including 18 years with BGW CPA, PLLC -- 16 as partner -- Susan Benton Wilson has announced her retirement. Please join us as we congratulate her on an outstanding career.
Susan has been a valued member of the BGW family. In her leadership role, Susan oversaw the tax department and served both business and individual clients with tax compliance, tax consultations, planning, and examinations. Most notably, she has been committed to developing a culture of creative thinking, constantly looking for proactive ways to solve client needs.
Susan’s accomplishments in the accounting field and in her community have never gone unnoticed. We proudly stood with her as she was honored with the Making an Impact for a Cause award by Women With Know-How. She is an active member of the AICPA, the North Carolina Association of CPAs, the Concord-Cabarrus Business and Professional Women, and North Carolina Business & Professional Women’s Clubs. All will miss her.
Susan plans to increase the amount of time she spends with her family and exploring her loves of gardening and traveling. She has earned every minute of a leisurely, passion-filled retirement.
