Per our listeners' request from a recent PPP webinar, we have written a sample letter to the North Carolina state legislature regarding tax deductibility of qualified expenses as they relate to forgiven Paycheck Protection Program loans.  Presently, North Carolina does not follow the federal guidelines for deductibility.  This must be addressed. 

Feel free to use this as a template and modify as you deem appropriate.  We hope this helps.
