Strategy

Strategic planning is a process that helps you fulfill your organization’s mission with maximum efficiency and maximum impact.  Too often CEOs either never take the time to set a strategic plan or, equally as bad, set a plan but then never obtain buy-in or monitor the plan.

Strategic planning sets priorities, focuses energy and resources, strengthens operations, ensures that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals, establishes agreement around intended outcomes and results, and assesses and adjusts the organization’s direction in response to change. It is a disciplined effort that produces fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide what an organization is, who it serves, and why it does what it does, with a strong focus on the future. Effective strategic planning articulates not only where an organization is going and the actions needed to make progress, but also how it will know if it is successful.  Articulate, specific goals combined with the action steps and resources needed to achieve them, will ensure your strategic plan is successful.   Download our whitepaper for tips and techniques to get started or take our self assessment to determine where you stand.
